Eva Longoria is absolutely delighted to have been asked to open the Harrods winter sale of 2006, which will open to bargain hunters on December 28.

The Desperate Housewives’ superstar will be accompanied by Harrods’ owner Mohammad Al Fayad for opening the world’s most famous department.

“It is such an honor and a privilege to be asked by Mr Al Fayed to join him at the opening of the sale at the world’s most famous department store,” said Longoria.

Eva Longoria was seen cheering for her fiance Tony Parker at a basketball game this week…she was beaming as brightly as her 5-carat plus engagement ring which was hard to miss.

She left the people around her spell-bound looking at the amazing emerald-cut diamond ring each time she gleefully raised her hands to support beau Parker.

It is revealed that the ring is a masterpiece by Beverly Hills jewellery designer Jean Dousset,it boasted of impressive 247 accenting diamonds.
